refetch problem

Hi

I have already mailed the group about how to delete old fetched content

For example a new fetch creates a new segment and i want to delete the old
segments(fetched previously)

How do i do it ?

Do i have to do the deletion manually after some time?

Help would be appreciated as i  run out of hard disk space and want to
delete old things
