On installing Apache Flex with the installer on Windows I have noticed some things that could be improved:

1. The installer installs itself which is unneeded. The installer should just install Apache Flex and the needed components. Just think of what would happen if every installer would install itself - a real bloatmare.
2. It would also be nice if there would be an offline installer for instaling on multiple machines or for later installs if internet access isn't possible.
3. The installer shows some components as needed like OSMF and playerglobal.swc but allows to unselect them. I think if the components are required there is no reason for the possibility to unselect them (just grey them out like the installer for the installer already does).
4. If the installer is downloading components it would be nice if he would show a more detailed progress like "17.2M/59.8M (852 K/s)".
5. It would also be nice if the installer would provide an option to automatically register the bin directory to the PATH variable.
