Amanda Moran resolved TRAFODION-922.

    Resolution: Fixed

Users can enter in any name for their nodes. IP, alias, long name or short name. The installer when then will attempt to ssh to that node give the name provided. If it can not connect then the installer will error out. If it is successful the installer calls "hostname" and will use that to identify the node (this is needed the foundation/monitor). 

Variables like NODE_LIST and MY_NODES will have the value for "hostname" for every node.
