Change in permission req's for 'builds' tree?

Hi all,

    My nightly script for publishing the contents of SVN has stopped 
working because 
the builds directory now requires membership in the 'apsite' group.  I 
have been publishing them
to:
        /www/people.apache.org/builds/xml-batik/

    What is the recommended  way to publish nightly "builds"?
