[jira] [Closed] (OFBIZ-4273) Unable to create virtual products from variants

Scott Gray closed OFBIZ-4273.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Thanks Sam, fixed in r1101373.

Word of caution though, that screen was implemented a very long time ago and appears to have seen little in the way of improvement. Looks like this bug was introduced 2.5 years ago and you're the first to notice.

> Unable to create virtual products from variants
> -----------------------------------------------
>
> Key: OFBIZ-4273
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-4273
> Project: OFBiz
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: product
> Affects Versions: SVN trunk
> Reporter: Sam Hamilton
> Assignee: Scott Gray
>
> I believe that this is a bug but not 100% sure as creating virtual products is a new to me.
> How to test:
> 1. Start: https://demo-trunk.ofbiz.apache.org/catalog/control/CreateVirtualWithVariantsForm
> 2. Add skus WG-9943 and WG-9944 to the Variant Product IDs box
> 3. Click "create virtual product"
> 4. Now you should see the following error message: Error calling event: org.ofbiz.webapp.event.EventHandlerException: Service invocation error (null)
> I have also tried another set of SKUs such as GZ-1006-1, GZ-1006-2, GZ-1006-3 & GZ-1006-4 and it errored out with the same result.
