What is the technical term for...

... the objects that are passed in to (and out of) a web service:

For instance:
  Widget createWidget(Widget widget);

What is the standard term for Widget ?

Web service Data Object? It is slipping my mind and driving me nuts.

I would say "request object" and "response object".
