Error missing 204 556 and 642 with RTMPS

Hi,

I'm following the guide RTMPSandHTTPS<http://openmeetings.apache.org/RTMPSAndHTTPS.html> to set up openmeetings with security. I can connect with HTTPS to the web
interface but I get Error Missing 204, 556, 642 when I enter into a room.

I've created the keystore and the key and added the corresponding certificates provided by the CA into the keystore following steps 1 to 6 of "Configuring RTMPS for the Flash Client".

What its not clear to me are steps 7 & 8:
Step 7: Do I have to split keystore into keystore and truststore? Don't really know how...
Step 8: Why do I need a second certificate? If I need to follow steps 1 to 6 again, which would it be the alias this time? And, keystore.screen will only provide the public side of a certificate?

I'm a little bit confused with these instructions.
Any help please.

Kind regards, Xavi Carol.

Ah, ok!

I'll try with Ubuntu 14.10 later.

I'll also be willing to bring any details on my side to the dev team.

Right now tested with:

Ubuntu 14.04
Firefox - Error missing 204 556, 642

Windows 7
Internet explorer - Cannot even reach a room due a lot of javascript errors.
Firefox - Works fine
Chrome - Works fine.

Now I see the NOTE: The OSx and Linux Flash Player are NOT able to
connect via rtmps

My apologise.

I guessed it is not needed to split the keystore, but just wanted to
confirm this.

It would be fine if the instructions specify it. Just as you said here.
About step 8, it would be the same. Your explanation here would help,
but a little bit more explanation would be great; just say which steps
to follow, alias for the new certificate, if it has to be added on both
keystores, etc.

About the error.

I modified red5.properties and config.xml as indicated. I attach them
here just if you can take a look.

I see nothing significant in the logs. The only difference I see when I
enter a room, between a red5-debug.sh run with ssl and with out it, is
that when running with ssl these traces appear while without ssl they don't:

2014-11-24 10:56:28,342 [http-nio-0.0.0.0-443-exec-5] INFO
o.a.c.c.C.[.[.0.0.0.[/openmeetings] - Initializing Spring

2014-11-24 10:56:28,342 [http-nio-0.0.0.0-443-exec-5] INFO
o.s.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet - FrameworkServlet 'spring-mvc':
initialization started
2014-11-24 10:56:28,357 [http-nio-0.0.0.0-443-exec-5] INFO
o.s.w.c.s.XmlWebApplicationContext - Refreshing WebApplicationContext
for namespace 'spring-mvc-servlet': startup date [Mon Nov 24 10:56:28
CET 2014]; parent: Root WebApplicationContext
2014-11-24 10:56:28,360 [http-nio-0.0.0.0-443-exec-5] INFO
o.s.b.f.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionReader - Loading XML bean definitions from
ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/spring-mvc-servlet.xml]
2014-11-24 10:56:28,565 [http-nio-0.0.0.0-443-exec-5] INFO
o.s.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet - FrameworkServlet 'spring-mvc':
initialization completed in 223 ms

But as I don't really know what to search, perhaps it is there and I
cannot find it. I attach the log files also.

Thanks for your kind help Maxim.

According to the guide
step 7: "you *can* split keystore and truststore" it works for me without
splitting, I just have copied keystore to truststore
step 8: this is all about screensharing, applet neeed to contain keys to
work properly, as initial step you can just copy keystore to keystore.screen

I would be happy to improve instructions, please let me know what need to
be changed :)

The error you are getting is caused by connection can not be established.

do you have anything in the logs?
have you modified config.xml according to instructions?
