Newbie Question - Templates

Hi I just set up subversion on one of my servers for web development and I
had a quick question. I do development locally on my own computer so there
are a couple of config files that get changed every time I checkout and
commit. I think the solution to this is using templates and I remember
reading something about templates in the user book but it was not that clear
on how to implement them.

If this is the way to go can someone give me a little insight on how to set
it up or if it's not and you have any other solutions that you think might
be better I'm all ears!

Thanks!

I think you're probably referring to this:
