[jira] [Commented] (DIRAPI-294) How to turn off console logging in
LDAP API? Too much console logging is degradng the search performance

Emmanuel Lecharny commented on DIRAPI-294:
------------------------------------------
The Apache LDAP API is using {{SFL4J}} facade. If you use {{Log4J}} with no restriction on the classes providing some logs, you'll get a lot of logs.
You can add a filter in your {{log4j.properties}} file ( or whatever system you use to configure logging), something like :
{noformat}
log4j.org.apache.directory.api.ldap=ERROR
{noformat}
to only get errors for all the classes the API provides
