integration test: getting started advices

Hi,
If possible I'd like to develop some integration tests for my component.
Ideally these tests should be invoked in maven2 integration test build phase and
should deploy one or more jbi component, one or more service assembly and then
send some request and examine the answers.
I've looked at servicemix sources and understand that there is the possibility
to use servicemix embedded in a junit test. Is there documentation on this way
of configuring and using servicemix?
