Error when trying to download OO package
Hello
I'm trying to download the installer package for English (British) /
Windows Intel MSI without JRE, on the page
http://openoffice.org/download/other.html
The provided link consistently returns a 404 error. Any ideas on how I can
download this package?

Try to download the US-Version, and add the language Pack.

Hmm. Using OO is *using* an application; installing it is *installing* an
application. These are fundamentally different operations, especially from
the perspective of a non-technically inclined user. Consider it from that
perspective, rather than from your perspective.
I don't disagree that it is easy, but that isn't the point.

I see no problem for those users. It's so easy, selecting custom
installation and deselect java. In the other way I ask me, if they
aren't able to do this, how do they work with OOo.

Hello. My email replying to this was bounced. Hopefully, this will get through.
If your users cannot use custom installation, do what someone suggested previously and install the en_US version along with the en_GB language package.

>From memory, the Windows installer lets you do a custom install. If that won't work for your users, you will have to do as someone suggested earlier and install the US version without JRE and the en_GB language pack.

I only found the English(British) with JRE version on the mirrors. You could use, or download
the US English version and the British English language pack.
