   Thanks for still following this Duo. From what I see now, it looks like that we only have this scenario that request all regionservers to roll WAL writer when back up. Although we have added the function of doing logroll on a specific server in the Admin interface very early, it is a little different from the backup scene. Based on this consideration, I put this in the hbase-backup module.
