Kylin on Docker for production use

Hello,

I would like to know if it's better to install Kylin directly on the OS or
with Docker for production use ?

I didn't find too much information on Internet and there no recent
docker/kylin image available or update, so I guess it's not a viable
solution. I'm wrong ?

I recall a docker Kylin in early days, maybe around time of 1.3? Or early?

But that was not maintain. Contribution is appreciated about docker.

Hi Arnault,

Today most users are running directly on OS (an edge node of the Hadoop
cluster). This is easy to do. With the tool like Ambari, this node can be
monitored and managed together with other nodes.

But I also heard some users running Kylin on Docker. I don't know how they
monitor/manage the containers, they should have their way. If using Docker,
you also need to build the image by yourself, as there is no official image.
