This is already supported in {{FlinkKafkaConsumer}}, so it would only be a matter of exposing it through the Stateful Functions Kafka ingress.

It would be reasonable to support this with it being disabled by default, so that users do not always need to set the consumer group id and have a minimal setup to get started with using the ingress.
