[jira] [Updated] (SPARK-23336) Upgrade snappy-java to 1.1.4
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-23336?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Sean Owen updated SPARK-23336:
------------------------------
Priority: Minor (was: Trivial)
Issue Type: Improvement (was: Bug)
The issue is that, historically, it's not been so forwards- and backwards-compatible, and it's used by tightly-coupled components like Hadoop too. Matching libraries like Hadoop is fine, and with some testing, possibly fine to update past what Hadoop has.
