Unable to associate new email address

Hello team,

Firstly, thanks so much for creating this beautiful and useful tool :-)

I am facing some issue to associate a new email address with my
account on https://lists.apache.org instance.

As I try to associate a new email address, the following message is shown.
"501 could not parse your mail from command"

It is not a blocker for me, just reporting in case it is not already
