[SUMMARY] Flink 2.2 Release Sync 08/20/2025

Hi, devs

Today we had our first meeting for Flink 2.2 release cycle. I'd like to
share the info synced in the meeting.

1. Feature freezing and release:

- Feature Freeze: October 31, 2025, 00:00 CEST(UTC+2)
- Release: End of November 2025

2. Update 2.2 Release page:

Flink 2.2 release has been kicked off. We'd like to invite you to update
your development plan on the release page[1].

4. Blocker Issues

There are no blocker issues, but one unstable test. I have created the
corresponding issue[2] to track it.

The next release sync up meeting will be on September 3, 2025. Please feel free
to join us[3]!
