[jira] Created: (COUCHDB-120) Allow databases to be "rolled back"
to a specific sequence ID.
Allow databases to be "rolled back" to a specific sequence ID.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Key: COUCHDB-120
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-120
Project: CouchDB
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Database Core
Affects Versions: 0.8.1
Reporter: Jan Lehnardt
Priority: Minor
Rolling back databases to a specific seq_id would allow for "undoing" replication. possible use-cases included replication with an untrustworthy replication partner.
(we should think about repl-ed and advocate safer-replication. advocating abstinence is another option, but that system is prone to #fail).
