log4j wrapper

Hi Guys
We are about to start using log4j in our project. But we had a
consensus that we use a wrapper around log4j , instead of using it
directly. We do not want to use jakarta-commons logging, because we need
a very basic simplistic wrapper and do not wish for multiple logging
implementation support. Moreover
http://www.qos.ch/logging/thinkAgain.html this article convinced us to
write our own little wrapper.

Does anyone have a know of an example wrapper implementation that we can
refer to or any suggestion for writing the wrapper?
