[ANNOUNCE] New committer: Milinda Pathirage
On behalf of the PMC, I am delighted to announce Milinda Pathirage as a new Calcite committer.
Milinda has made contributions to Calcite’s community that go beyond his contributions to the core code base. He has written a Calcite adapter for Samza (SamzaSQL) with very little assistance, has spoken about Calcite, Samza and streaming SQL at conferences, and represents Calcite to the Samza community, especially in difficult questions involving streams and planning.
Please welcome Milinda to Calcite!
Julian
