The congratulations are now official! The vote passed and results
have been forwarded to the incubator.

I messed up here because of the confusion between whether our previous
connectors-private discussion constituted a vote or not. For the
purposes of informing the incubator, it did not. We had tentatively
agreed internally that it did, however.

But since a formal vote has been called, we *do* need to wait the
prerequisite 72 hours before declaring it closed. Once again, my
apologies.

Just to clear things up a bit for all involved.

It's pretty much standard at the ASF that votes are held open for three days to give people across time zones, continents, etc. time to ascertain the issues and vote.

Please see http://www.apache.org/foundation/voting.html for more info on the various different ways votes take place.

My mistake; I'm told this vote must remain open until Thursday
morning. We'll have to wait until then.
