[VOTE] Release Apache Jackrabbit Oak 1.5.5
A candidate for the Jackrabbit Oak 1.5.5 release is available at:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/jackrabbit/oak/1.5.5/
The release candidate is a zip archive of the sources in:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/oak/tags/jackrabbit-oak-1.5.5/
The SHA1 checksum of the archive is
3edcdfa0a8ac3c17de01b16448ea2090e8450861.
A staged Maven repository is available for review at:
https://repository.apache.org/
The command for running automated checks against this release candidate is:
$ sh check-release.sh oak 1.5.5 3edcdfa0a8ac3c17de01b16448ea2090e8450861
Please vote on releasing this package as Apache Jackrabbit Oak 1.5.5.
The vote is open for the next 72 hours and passes if a majority of at

DataStoreCheckTest.testMissingOpParams() tests a trivial condition and
given that it may be an intermittent failure with java 1.9, I'll still
recommend releasing 1.5.5. I tested on Java 1.7 ubuntu, Java 1.8 windows.
Created OAK-4544 to track failure of the test. So,
[X] +1 Release this package as Apache Jackrabbit Oak 1.5.5

I confirm that it passes with 1.7 and fails with 1.8 (Windows).

I can confirm it fails as well on my machine when using JDK 8
java version "1.8.0_74"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_74-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.74-b02, mixed mode)
Darwin Kernel Version 13.4.0: Sun Aug 17 19:50:11 PDT 2014;
root:xnu-2422.115.4~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
Never the less, specially because it's an unstable cut, I'm for
releasing it anyhow.
