Mixing two different logging implementations like Log4j 1 and Log4j 2 is not recommended and will most likely lead to problems. What you can do is to use the Log4j 1 bridge for Log4j 2: http://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/log4j-1.2-api/index.html
