> Components: Java Broker

> The {{qpid-server.bat}} batch file may be called from the Windows start menu or Windows short-cut. If the Broker fails to start (unset JAVA_HOME or wrong JVM version), currently the command window associated with the batch file closes before the contents of the window can be read. This frustrates users trying to diagnose problems.
> An option 'run' command line option could be added to instruct the batch script pause if the java or the broker report a non-zero exit status. The run command line option is a private concern the the batch file and not passed to Qpid proper.
