[jira] [Commented] (THRIFT-2426) clarify IP rights and contributions from fbthrift

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-2426?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16753407#comment-16753407 ]

Mario Emmenlauer commented on THRIFT-2426:
------------------------------------------

Is there anything that can be done to progress with this issue? I fail to understand why only the fbthrift team can submit their work. In my (naiive) understanding the license should allow integration of the code into other projects, as long as copyright and license are respected/preserved?

In any case, could I (as an independent third party) do anything to help?
