[jira] [Reopened] (VCL-871) OS.pm::create_text_file fails if content is too long

Aaron Peeler reopened VCL-871:
------------------------------

In OS.pm create_text_file for appending - I think the "echo -n" is causing issues with ext_sshd_config and sudoers on server reservations. The trailing newline is missing causes each AllowUsers directive to be on the same line, so users can't log in. I'm not sure if removing it breaks something else.

> {{OS.pm::create_text_file}} converts each character of the text content argument to its hex value and creates a string passed to _echo -e_. This normally works correctly and allows single quote charcters to be added to the file. However, the command fails if the string becomes too long.
