Problem with CXF site

Sorry for posting a web site usability issue here. But, not sure where is the proper place.

So, what's up with accessing the XJC Utils link on cxf.apache.org? I click on it, and makes me register. Did that, logged in, and when I click on XJC Utils, it tells me I don't have permission. Give me a break! What's so special about this link that I can't access it? I'm trying to figure out what the new *-xjc-* jars are for in the new 2.3 version, which is why I wanted in there.

Thanks,

Ron Grimes

"XJC Utils" and "Build Utils" appear to be empty place holders... guess
someone is planning on doing something with these web pages?

My fault. I was TRYING to figure out how to get Maven to generate those parts
from the builds themselves, but failed misserably. I'll try and get some
content into confluence tomorrow.

Just FYI, I previously added the request to this issue:

Is there a ticket # I can track for this issue yet?

Well, digging through all the docs and samples on the jetty site, it looks
like we're doing the session handler thing wrong. Thus, not really their
fault. I have a fix for it that I'm testing now. Should be part of 2.3.1,
but it doesn't look like it's usable for 2.3.0 (although it only affect things
if you turn sessions on which isn't the default).

I've found the jetty gang to have become quite responsive on their
bugzilla these days.

I just ran the tests with 7.2.0 and all the session related things failed.
Thus, something is wrong with how sessions are setup with 7.2.0. Everything
else passed, but you kind of have to wonder what is happening......

Do you see any issue with replacing Jetty 7.1.6 with 7.2.0 in CXF 2.3.0?

All the tests passed with 1.5.5. I would say you are probably OK with that

Apache Commons pool versions in 2.3.0

Hi All:

Our server relies on Apache Commons Pool (ACP) 1.5.5 and I see that CXF 2.3.0 ships with ACP 1.5.2. We plan on shipping ACP 1.5.5 with our product and not 1.5.2. Do you see this as an issue? Could CXF 2.3.1 migrate up to ACP 1.5.5?

Content added. It's currently at:

but will sync to the main site in a few hours.
