Help: Relative uri:dtd can not be resolved

Hi,

I'm trying to use Jaxme to generate Java classes based on a DTD (the
Apple iTunes DTD to be specific). I have modified an Ant script to
accomplish this based on the Jaxme documentation, but have been
unsuccessful in getting Jaxme to run successfully. I get the
following error message:

Relative URI "uri:dtd"; can not be resolved without a base URI.

I'm thinking that the issue I'm having is with build settings. Here
is a snippet of my Ant script:
<xjc
         package="com.missinglinksoftware.www"
         schema="/Users/philipusatine/desktop/ws-jaxme-0.5/examples/
xs/XMLSchema.dtd"
         target="${build}/src">
          <dtd/>
</xjc>

Can anyone provide any input into how I tweak this Ant script to get
the dtd to parse or alternatively where else the problem might stem
from?

Regards,
phil usatine

I have saved the above URI into a file "properties.dtd" and used the
attached build script to parse it.

   I got the error message Model groups with maxOccurs > 1
   are not yet supported.

which is quite right: The construct

   <!ELEMENT dict (key, (array | data | date | dict |
                         real | integer | string |
                         true | false))*>

is a sequence with maxOccurs="unbounded". This feature will hopefully be
supported in JaxMe 0.6, but it isn't in 0.5.

Sorry,

Jochen

Hi Jochen,

The DTD is at the following URL:
http://www.*apple*.com/*DTDs*/PropertyList-1.*0.dtd

*Thanks for investigating,

Is that DTD available somewhere, so that we can look at it?
