1/29/2019 Bi-Weekly OSS Heron Sync-up
Hi, all~,
It has been two weeks since our last sync and it is time to share our
progress again. Let's share our works for the last two weeks in this
thread.
My update:
- Worked on heron apache release (with binary). Adding/fixing scripts and
setting up jenkins jobs.
- Gave a talk about Streamlet API in Heron meetup.
- Worked with Huijun, Neng, Yao for a memory leak fix in stream manager.
- Started a podding report (

I put a small fix in for the Kuberentes Helm charts to remove a bug when
deploying Heron to an AWS EKS cluster.

Hi all,
My update:
- Worked on Heron Apache release.
- Cleaned up the Dockerfiles (docker/dist/scripts/) to reduce docker image size.
- Fixed the conf file missing bug when submitting topologies to k8s.
- Worked with Xiaoyao to revamp example topologies with new valid configs.
- Helped Ning with a memory leak fix in stream manager.
