[jira] [Created] (INFRA-4207) Create read-only mailing list: ooo-announce@incubator.apache.org

Create read-only mailing list: ooo-announce@incubator.apache.org
----------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-4207
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4207
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Mailing Lists
            Reporter: Rob Weir

This is an announce list for the OpenOffice podling. I'm not sure what we usually do with announce lists, but we'd like (if possible) something that is read-only except by moderators. This would not be a discussion list. It would have many subscribers, but only the PMC would authorize posts, via the list moderators. Posts from others should be automatically rejected, not held for moderation.

<danielsh> the default is to allow posts from:@apache.org after message-by-message moderation (no allow list) and reject all others.
