Fwd: CHAOSS Community Interview Request

Hi All

I've got this request and think it's about time that we got involved
with CHAOSS since it is very relevant to what we are doing with Kibble.
Also it could be a way to help make our community more active and also
grow it. I'm happy to participate - is anyone else interested?

I'll probably post to ComDev too but I think Kibble dev is a good place
for discussions around this and also CHAOSS.

Thanks
Sharan

Hi Sharan,

I’m Kevin Lumbard from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a
member of the Linux Foundation’s CHAOSS project. I am conducting
interviews on open source community health and metrics to help inform
the direction of the CHAOSS project (https://chaoss.community/).

I am contacting you to request your participation in helping us better
understand open community health metrics. As members of the CHAOSS
community , we are all striving to better understand the complexities
associated with the advancement of open community health metrics
including issues as sources of data, composition of metrics,
representation of metrics, and how the metrics may be gamed. This area
of inquiry is timely in light of increasing emphasis put on open
source communities as a critical part of software infrastructure,
organizational innovation, and larger community ecosystems.

I am hoping to speak with you or members of your organization
regarding open community health metrics. If you have any questions,
please don’t hesitate to contact me as I’d be very happy to answer any
questions. The interview will take approximately 45 minutes, will be
anonymous, and will be brought back to the community to advance our
understanding and generate ongoing conversations regarding open source
project health.

Please respond to this email with some days and times that would work
best for you. Thank you!

Cheers!
