can i send annoatation as requset

HI
        can i send annotation as request from browser then write servlet for
it and result   to be  displayed.
i think it is possible as per my knowledge i can send a request from a
jsp then it will check it in servlet ,but how do we coonct these two.first i
want to look for one particular string.some thing like APACHE.is it
possible?can any one guide me here
