JSON Service Support for Drill

Hello Drill Team,

I am huge fan of Apache Drill. I have a unique case where I have an COTS
application which returns me the data in JSON format as a service. Is there
any way I can enable Drill to query against that data as a service?

As an example: I have an app which returns me a JSON service as follows,
can I use Drill to query this in Real Time and we need to use this data to
develop some Tableau Dashboards.

Appreciate your help.

This is something we've talked about adding. A few questions that will help
us plan:

How do you call this API? Is it a GET request which includes the necessary
authentication tokens?
Is the response a single map as shown below with all the records in the
"data" array, regardless of the number of records? Or could there be, for
example, a need for paging?
