replication issues from couchone to local db (1.0.3/1.1.0)
Hi,
I am trying to replicate http://fdmanana.couchone.com/less_json_test
to a local couchdb running on Windows.
With CouchDB 1.0.3 replication gets stuck at #305, last log related to
replication shows:
[info] [<0.169.0>] recording a checkpoint for
http://fdmanana.couchone.com/less_json_test/ -> less_json_test at
source update_seq 305
and then nothing else happened (no progress, no additional replication logging)
I restarted my local couchdb and tried again, and now it gets to:
[Sun, 17 Jul 2011 07:00:17 GMT] [info] [<0.163.0>] recording a
checkpoint for http://fdmanana.couchone.com/less_json_test/ ->

switching to https did not solve the problem, (on 1.0.3) it still fails with:

Jeroen, this is a longshot because you seem to be in a web-friendly
country, the Netherlands, however perhaps try replicating via https
instead.
Using HTTPS will reduce the chance of interference by "transparent"
proxies that some ISPs have in place. For example, where I live, I
cannot replicate more than a few hundred changes before getting
errors; but when I switch the URL to https, everything is fine.
