Deleting collections in Xindice

I want to delete an empty sub-collection in Xindice. This does not work:

<dbxml:query
  xmlns:dbxml="http://apache.org/cocoon/xmldb/1.0"/
  type="delete"
  collection="MyCollection"
  oid="MySubCollection/">

Anyone know how to do this?
