Closing for Jeff, I believe we have reached a point where the tooling is as close as possible to the Cordova standard and CLI specs.
The issues specified in this ticket have been resolved pre 2.9.0

The only outstanding issues is the -k <password> cli argument, and there are tickets out to improved the BB10 cli to support those issues.
