Flume 0.X JIRA's

Folks,

Whats the plan for pre-FlumeNG jira's? To me the branch seems dead.
IMHO, we can mark the ticket's as Won't Fix and clean up JIRA.

wdyt?

thanks
ashish

Not a Flume committer, but sounds good to me.

Done with updates.

Following JIRA's were found to be relevant to Flume 1.x. Can someone
look at them and update the affected versions or mark them as Won't
fix.

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-402 - Add a "Known Issues"
section to flume documentation.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-450 - Windows Event logger source.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-458 - MSI based installer
for windows.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-525 - Add system-level
test that verifies compression codec loading
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-542 - S3 sink cannot be
used if your AWS keys needs escaping
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-552 - Flume should perform
version checks in RPC
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-613 - Add Cobertura
support to the maven build
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-645 - Add concurrency
annotations to flume code base.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-650 - Flume nodes should
cleanup before shutdown

Next step is look at Patch available JIRA's and clean them up.

thanks
ashish

There are around 351 JIRA's on pre 1.X release. I shall look at them
and mark them as won't fix selectively. If there are features that can
be moved to 1.X series, shall post them on ML.
