[users@httpd] Windows XP Pro - Patched - Running SP1

I am running a dell insiprion 8200 windows xp pro development machine at
work.

I have downloaded the latest windows release. I have uninstalled IIS. I
then installed apache.
For domain info I have entered localhost localhost (I also tried
development.com , machine.development.com). No errors during install.
Apache server up and running. No errors are in the log file but when I
can can not connect to it through explorer or opera using these address
(127.0.0.1, localhost, mymachine). 

Any Help is appreciated.
