[users@httpd] Response from Apache 2

Hi,
my question is very simple.
When I do a GET or a POST my server always returns this:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Fri, 08 Nov 2002 10:26:51 GMT
Server: Apache/2.0.43 (Unix)
Content-Length: 1461
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

How to avoid that ???

Thanks,

Michiels Olivier

Thanks for your help. My problem is that I create myself a http header
instead of let the server creates it. Now I understand that I have to
put some information in the request_rec structure.

OCSP is the Online Certificate Status Protocol. It is a protocol used to
verify the status of a certificate instead of using CRLs (Certificate
revocation List).

Because your version of Apache 1.3 is setup to include OCSP support
(sorry, don't know what this is). It looks like some kind of
server-side module though, like PHP or Perl, so I presume you have to
setup Apache 2 in some way to include/support it.

Can you give me some more details about OCSP?

Cheers.

Maybe yes, but explain why I never had this problem with apache 1.3.
Why apache 1.3 returns this:
HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Content-Type: application/ocsp-response
Content-Transfer-Encoding: Binary
Content-Length: 1344

and apache 2 returns this:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Fri, 08 Nov 2002 10:38:23 GMT
Server: Apache/2.0.43 (Unix)
Content-Length: 1461
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Content-Type: application/ocsp-response
Content-Transfer-Encoding: Binary
Content-Length: 1344

How can I have only the second part of the response sent to my
clients ???

Sorry, I don't understand...

Which part of the above response do you want to avoid? What you have
copied below is a standard HTTP response, so Apache is right to send
it.

I doubt you could break much (if any?) of this behaviour without
getting dirty and hacking the code, but it would make your server
non-HTTP compliant.

HTH.

Understood, but my client could be the ocsp client of mozilla or the
ocsp client of openssl and they reject that header.
So how can I avoid that header to be returned ???

This is an HTTP Header. apache should be returning it.

Why do you not want it... It tells the browser that everythings OK. literally ;)
