   I think that we've very reasonably covered this ground, and that it need not be achieved in the core buildstream repository per se.
   
   We now have plenty of evidence of fdsdk building docker images *for the purpose of running buildstream* which *contain buildstream* and are then used again for *building using buildstream*, this is demonstrated on a variety of machine architectures too.
   
   I think it would not make sense to replicate all of this machinery in the BuildStream repo itself, and so I think it's save to close this and regard this issue as resolved.
