   This PR is not relevant anymore, on main we have updated it according to spark, and this pom file for SIMD vectors is in staging and would require extensive work to fully integrate. (aka update spark to be able to use java 16+)
   
   Therefore we close this issue and if in the future spark updates to support SIMD vectors in java we will integrate the update in the other direction.
