SMS cleanup segfault related to do_child_cleanups

One of my core files.  I'm trying to track this down.  Any eyes
or assistance appreciated.  I'm not going to be taking a look at
this for another few hours though.

I can provide the core dump if wanted.  You'd need Solaris 8/Intel
