Compatibility Apache 1.3.x & Tomcat 4.1 and BO 6.5

Folks,
(posting this question here too, ´cause there´s tomcat issue)

I´m finding problems to compiling my original apache 2.0.46 in order to get the ssl working, so I think switching to 1.3 would be an option. The thing is that the apache 2.0.46, the tomcat 4.1 and BO 6.5 came together in a single cd pkg, and would like to know from you if there´s compatibility. It means, I´d downgrade only the apache, the tomcat and BO remains.
Please your kind and prompt guidance, we´ve been spending pretty much time with our original apache, which doesn´t work with ssl.

Thanks,

Ingrid

I'd be concerned about why Apache httpd won't compile. I would focus on
that if I were you.

Silly question: what is BO?

Tomcat doesn't really care what version of Apache httpd you use. Tomcat
doesn't even care if you use Apache httpd at all.

Can you dump Apache httpd altogether? Upgrading to Tomcat 5.5 or 6.0 -
especially when using the APR connector (which might give you problems,
as the code is identical to the Apache httpd code) could simplify your
configuration.
