[jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-4807) toString of TermRangeQuery ends with "}" instead of "]"

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-4807?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13590117#comment-13590117 ]

Hoss Man commented on LUCENE-4807:

FWIW...

bq. I came across this when I tried to parse a query based on the toString of a TermRangeQuery.

You can not in general count on the lucene QueryParser to be able to correctly parse back the output of any query's toString() method (see LUCENE-4673) but as of Lucene 4.0, The lucene QueryParser does in fact support parsing mixed inclusion/exclusion boundaries on range queries (see LUCENE-996)

> Create a TermRangeQuery, then toString it, you'll get something like this:
> +lastmodified:[19700101000000 TO 20130228202438}
> The last character is wrong. I came across this when I tried to parse a query based on the toString of a TermRangeQuery.
