I have tested this successfully with Tomcat 4.1.x-HEAD and Mozilla 1.4.

I don't know if this is/was a Tomcat bug, Mozilla bug or a configuration 
error. If you are able to re-create this with the latest versions on Tomcat 
and Mozilla please reopen this bug, provide a test case and I will be happy to 
look at it further.
