[jira] [Updated] (HADOOP-14962) TestKDiag succeeds when it is expected to fail

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-14962?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Wei-Chiu Chuang updated HADOOP-14962:
-------------------------------------
    Description:
I was trying to understand why TestKDiag fails intermittently, and found some TestKDiag tests are supposed to fail when they actually succeed.

For example, testBasicLoginSkipped has the following error

{noformat}
2017-10-18 15:18:39,114 ERROR security.TestKDiag (TestKDiag.java:kdiagFailure(107)) - Expected an exception in category LOGIN, return code 0
{noformat}
According the javadoc of kdiagFailure:
{quote}
Exec KDiag and expect a failure of a given category
{quote}
So it looks like it should have failed, but it doesn't.
