Note that this is supposed to have been done as part of Unix/LDAP group creation.

As it stands, the local definition in asf-auth will override the one in LDAP.
And changes to the LDAP unix group will not affect karma.
This will cause a problem for Sentry when they want to add new committers.

The podling list in asf-auth contains 3 extra entries compared with the unix/pmc groups: arvind, jzb, tomwhite.
I have checked, and these were not on the TLP resolution. The 3 were mentors, so it looks like they decided to drop out
