   Thanks, it will be great if we can make ExitableDirectoryReader cover all the formats so it can reliably be used for timing out. I agree with others here: basically, this is instrumenting roughly as much as the other implementations we have, so it should be OK for performance, but we should measure, too. Still, that effort shouldn't block this, which just extends the already existing approach to some new formats.
