[jira] Commented: (DROIDS-102) Add alternative search-provider to Droids site

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DROIDS-102?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12905566#action_12905566 ]

-------------------------------------

Hello guys,

I'm having hard times building Droids' site locally. Droids build via "mvn install" or "droids" command (I added bin to PATH) works well.
I see build-doc.sh script but it doesn't work for me. Even "droids droids.clean" fails because it says "Target "droids.clean" does not exist in the project "Droids"' (build.xml doesn't have it, indeed). "forrest" command also fails saying some plugins are missing.
The biggest results I got by executing "forrest" from the modules (e.g. trunk/droids-solr/): I got site generated, but with errors (broken-links.xml report "No pipeline matched request: favicon.ico"). Althoughl I have index.html generated it doesn't include search box in it, so that I could work on it (btw, I don't see the configuration for search box in skinconf.xml...).

How come there are different skinconf.xml for modules? Different sites generated for them?

Could you please help me to understand Droids' site building process?

Thank you in advance,
Alex.

P.S. I tried with forrest 0.8 and with the one built from trunk. I use Apache Ant version 1.8.0.

Hello,

Any chance we can get a little help here with Droids' site building process?

 Thanks,
