[jira] [Resolved] (WICKET-4834) AjaxFormComponentUpdatingBehavior - onUpdate method is never invoked on wicket 6.X

Sven Meier resolved WICKET-4834.
--------------------------------

    Resolution: Invalid
      Assignee: Sven Meier

I've tried your quickstart on 1.5.x and it doesn't work either.

Adding an event handler on the recorder component cannot work, since it is a hidden field only and no event will be initiated when the value is changed programmatically.

BTW since you hide the choices anyway, it doesn't make much sense to use the Palette component.

> I created a SingleColumnPalette with three button (add, edit, remove). When I press the edit button, I can not understand which is the selected item. I saw that the onUpdate method is never invoked.
